Our first Fundraiser Meeting will be held Sunday, April 18 @ 4 p.m. on the 2nd floor of the library in one of the Study Rooms (201 or 202).

This meeting is not mandatory but is available to those wanting to collaborate on fundraisers.

final payments

So I just want to make sure that I understand how to make the final trip payments because when I log onto my Gosolar account it says "marketplace" next to my $1000 Tanzania fee. We pay the last $1000 to student accounts/gosolar, correct?

Also, the correct amount for the maymester mandatory fee is $205.50 and the maymester USG Institution fee is $200?

Just wanted to make sure that everyone noticed on the Tanzania Embassy site that the address for the embassy has changed effective Mar. 1st. It's listed on the Home page of the site, but the Visa application still has their old address. The new one is listed below.

Love for Vegetarians PLEASE

okay guys, i am a vegetarian however I do eat seafood. Do you think I should bring anything like granola bars or even protein shacks to make sure I have my proper nutrition while we are traveling?

Fundraising for Trip

Is anyone else doing anything special to raise funds for our trip? $4000 for the trip, another few hundred in tuition, spending money, preparation, visa, passport. It's adding up!

My family and I are hosting a fundraising dinner we named "Back to the Motherland". You all are invited. Tickets are $20 pp $35 for couples but I would only charge you all half price (Dr. Lewis you can come for FREE). I would love to show you all off as my travel buddies! Let me know if you decide to come. I'm expecting a classy event, I have some wonderful people assisting me.

Flight

Is anyone else feeling sick just thinking about being on a plane for over 20 hrs!!! Ive flown tons of times but the longest was 6 hrs and I was freaking out then.....Who's gonna be my plane buddy and comfort me just in case I start massively hyperventilating lol......I wonder do these planes have chargers/outlets cause my laptop won't work that long haha

Hey Guys,

What kind of dishes are you thinking about bringing to our first get together?
I was thinking about bringing linguine salad, which is a cold pasta dish with veggies, crab meat, linguine and seven seas dressing.

I'm super stoked!

It's alot in preparation for the trip, but I am soooo looking forward to meeting everyone at the pre-pre orientation :)
