Tanzania Clothing
What do you guys think about having to dress conservatively in Tanzania? What kind of clothes are you guys thinking about bringing? What kind of questions do you have about the type of attire worn in Tanzania?
I'm concerned that I will have to buy a whole new wardrobe for this trip. All of the clothes I have are somewhat fitted, and I have been told that I need to hide my figure. I'm hoping that I can wear capri's because I have a lot of those already on hand. Also, I'm not sure where I can go to buy those long colorful skirts, or if I need to have some scarfs. Furthermore, I'm wondering if I can wear sandals or flip flops.
I'm sure that Dr.Lewis will answer specific questions about dress, but I always dress more conservative when I'm going anywhere, just because I won't be taking any chances. I'm thinking we are going to be doing alot of moving around and traveling so I want to be really comfortable. Basically thats what my attire will be comfortable.
I planned on wearing leggings the whole trip because I don't want mosquitoes to eat my legs up :) !.....I'm sure you can wear sandals an flip flops but remember the roads aren't like ours and your feet will probably get really dirty...I'm Jamaican and when I go to Jamaica if I go into the neighborhoods the roads are dirt roads or rocky an flip flops are soo uncomfortable and i'll wear sneakers
