So I just want to make sure that I understand how to make the final trip payments because when I log onto my Gosolar account it says "marketplace" next to my $1000 Tanzania fee. We pay the last $1000 to student accounts/gosolar, correct?
Also, the correct amount for the maymester mandatory fee is $205.50 and the maymester USG Institution fee is $200?

Yes, everyone that is a GSU student has to pay the last payment on GoSOLAR.
ReplyDeleteAs far as the fees, I was told by the Study Abroad Program that our mandatory fee should be $285 ($85 technology fee & $200 institution fee).
However, according to the GSU Tuition and Fees website ALL fees are supposed to be waived except the technology fee.
I also know that some students balance is $800+ with the tuition and others (mine and yours) is $1,000+.
On Monday, I am going to Student Accounts to get some answers and will keep you posted...
I visited student accounts/financial aid today for different reason. My GoSolar account is showing a REFUND with the Tanzania final payment posted to my account. Unfortunately, in my case although I am showing enough summer funds to pay for the deposit, I will STILL have to pay the last deposit by April 15 and wait to be reimbursed. Financial aid funds for Maymester courses will be dispursed on May 5/6 and the Student Accounts office has up to 14 days from that date (May 19th) to post any refunds/IEF scholorship recieved by direct deposit to our personal accounts.
ReplyDeleteYou can ensure the $1000 payment is credited correctly by paying the fee in person at the Student Accounts window because if you are taking other courses this summer, paying through GoSolar may not be correctly credited to your account.
